BSc Exercise and Sport Sciences, Personal & Athletic Trainer, Group Class Instructor
Matteo Italica was born in 1991 in Milan (Italy).
From a young age, he developed a strong passion for movement, playing tennis competitively for over eight years and participating in various tournaments. Strength & conditioning training at the gym - initially aimed at improving performance - sparked a new interest in him: physical preparation. This passion grew to the point of leading him to give up tennis and dedicate himself exclusively to gym training.
After earning his diploma from a Human Sciences high school, he graduated in Exercise and Sport Sciences from the Università Cattolica in Milan (Italy) in 2013.
At the same time, he broadened his education by attending numerous specialized fitness courses: Pancafit Raggi Method, ISSA Personal Trainer CFT3 certification, ISSA Functional Trainer, basic CrossFit course, as well as Les Mills programs, including GRIT.
Upon completing his studies, he began his professional experience at the Get Fit fitness center in Milan (Italy), where he remained for three years.
Since January 2017, he has worked as a Personal Trainer and Group Class Instructor at GymTonic in Lugano (Switzerland), constantly enriching his professional background. There, he served for 4.5 years as Club Manager, coordinating the training area and instructors' team.
Matteo deeply loves his work and believes in movement as a tool to improve the quality of life.
For him, every training program is unique, built around a person's real needs, to make the body stronger, more efficient, and more aware.
He joined the Health Park project, bringing with him passion, experience, and a strong focus on the individual, in January 2026.
